What if my case doesn't show up in the lookup?

The free lookup uses the official USCIS API and the configured immigration data sources. If the source hasn't indexed your case yet, no third-party tool will have it either. You can still enter the receipt or case number manually — monitoring starts as soon as the source publishes the first event.

Are SMS and push notifications reliable?

Accepted Answer

We use Twilio for SMS (the same infrastructure banks and airlines use) and verify your phone number with a one-time code before activation. Push notifications are delivered through your browser or mobile device. If SMS fails to deliver, you still get the alert by email.

How does the AI summary work?

Paste any notice or order text into the editor and the AI returns a plain-English executive summary. We run on Gemini and OpenAI with automatic failover: if one provider is down, the request runs against the other.

Does Juralium replace USCIS.gov or the federal portals?

Accepted Answer

No. USCIS.gov, EOIR's portal, PACER, and the State Department site remain the canonical place to file documents, attend hearings, and view the formal record. Juralium is a monitoring layer on top: we tell you the moment something changes so you don't have to keep refreshing the official site.

What if USCIS or one of the federal sources is down when you sync?

We retry automatically. If a scheduled sync fails, the system re-queues the request asynchronously until it goes through. Alerts are sent as soon as the source comes back online — nothing on your end.

Can I monitor cases I'm not the attorney of record on?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Any public case — by receipt number or by docket — can be monitored, whether or not you're counsel of record. Useful for due diligence, opposing-party tracking, appellate watch, and pre-litigation review of debtors before filing.
